11.1.2026 On Friday, January 9, 2026, two of the puppies went to their new homes. It was hard to me, but I'm so happy that both of them ended up in such good homes. In Our home is still and will be Tuus Päivätär in the cover photo of the pages. The nickname is "Salmiakki", aka "Salmari" or "Salmis", taken from the color. "Salmari" probably is used.

The Live stream will be silent, but 45 recordings of each day can be found at the link.

Individual photos of each puppy have been added to the puppy page, at approximately 5 weeks and 7 weeks old.

24.12.2025 Today the puppies turned 5 weeks old and it's Christmas Eve! The "Piipposet" wish everyone a Very Merry Christmas!

24.11.2025 The puppies were born a little early, on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, even though the estimated date was on Sunday. 😍

There are 3 puppies, 2 girls and a boy. Not everything went so smoothly and there were tears during this. This is also the reason why updating the news here took much longer than planned. We had to recover from everything and gather some thoughts.

There were 6 puppies born (3+3). With the first puppy, Pii didn't know how to act right away and the breeders weren't wake up to help her since the very early hours of the morning, so the boy was in the puppy membrane for too long to survive. We blames ourselves a lot for this, because you shouldn't sleep on duty, even if it's 4 am. Too much responsibility was given to the first-time mother. The last girl, on the other hand, stayed in the birth canal for too long and didn't survive. The next night, one of the boys started to cry steadily, his voice only got louder and I've never heard such a loud voice coming from a puppy that's less than a day old. I was worried about the little one. However, he calmed down towards night and fell asleep like the rest of the four. At 5 am, it was noticed that the boy had fallen asleep forever. 😢 One guess for this, very vibrant puppy and it seemed to be flawless, the appetite was also good and the weight had started to increase, that the little one's umbilical cord had broken a bit early in the birth and the puppy got bacteria through that. And the brave, fighting puppy had fought hard against the infection, but in the end the infection still won. So sad, but apparently just very bad luck. And taught how fragile the thread of life is for these during birth and immediately after. Until now, when everything had always gone so well with these, if anything, this taught us humility. Now all the bad things seemed to be happening to this litter.

So there are 2 girls and 1 boy in the litter (Piipposet). They are now 5 days old and are all gaining weight well and are healthy quadrupeds. Pii has been incredibly energetic and in good shape the whole time, even though he was put to a tough test. If only we could carefully hope that greater adversity is behind and life will win with these puppies. Next up is the naming discussions.

27.9.2025 Pii was on a romantic vacation in Sweden and ended up with a handsome man from Sweden, Dexter 😍
The puppies are expected to be born around November 23, 2025.

6.9.2025 Pi was competing in the "takut" small competitions on 3 agility courses. In the first two, the instructor was loose *it and there was no result. The last one was successful, a clean course almost 20 seconds under the ideal time and a win. π is fast when everything works out. This is a good place to start a slightly longer competition break :)

1.9.2025 Long time no news here. Bad news first, teh pack has shrunk significantly, first at the high age 15½ years Satis-grandfather moved to the rainbow bridge. Böödi left quite suddenly, she developed tumors in her lungs and her condition collapsed really quickly, and Böödi was put to sleep in the fall of 2022.

This year, Pi has been doing great in agility, especially in the prestigious competitions and otherwise. First, in March, Pi was winning gold in the TamSK indoor championships, clean run of course :) In July, at the Gamblers Finnish Championships, she won silver in the Finnish Championships in the individuals. At the turn of July and August, Pi won (only one who did two clean rus, fastest time on both courses) district championship in the North Häme kennel district championships. Then in the Finnish Championships in August, Pi made it to the finals, but the handler messed up the final course in the individuals, but in teh team both courses was clean runs and that helped the excellent TamSK team to win bronze the Finnish Championships. Otherwise, the "ordinary competitions" went pretty well. In the SAGI rankings, both in the small large and Intermediate classes, she has now a maximum 300 points! 300 points in the rankings mean that during the last year she has had at least 15 clean runs in the fastest time, clean runs and fives are counted in the fastest time. Of course, she also collects certificates, meaning Pi has collected results in no less than four different champion grades, namely AVA, AVA-H, AVA-S and AVA-G.

8.3.2019 Crazy, loud, adorable, sweet, wise, annoying Satiainen (Mawlch Satir) is celebrating his 13th birthday today. Happy Birthday! Billion Thanks to his breeder Alen Marekovic for having this unique and very special dog. He is the best of bests.

4.3.2019 Croatian sheepdog puppy Rutku (Tuus Putkijarru) moved to his new home today. Her owner Emilia Helminen is experienced CS owner, before Rutku she had Kirva (Tuus Puuskupuh) from our kennel. Wishing you Emilia & Max success and happiness with this little heartbreaker <3

24.2.2019 Little termites are 8 weeks ols today. Must say there is less noice in the house than week before ;-)

On Friday green girl "Kerttu" (T. Vippaus) moved to her new home with Juha Väisänen & Kirsi Holopainen. Kerttu will train agility and rally obedience in the future.

On Saturday white girl "Veera" (T. Viskileikkaus) moved to Iitti to Ritva Lapinkoskis' home.Veera will have mudis and a Croatian Sheepdog around her.

17.2.2019 Little termites are 7 weeks old today! They are now registered, microchipped and vet checked. According to vet Sirkka Pyhälä, all the puppies are in good shape and they have lovely characters :-) Puppies seem older than they really are, but that has always been the case with our CS litters. They develope very quickly.

First two puppies moved to their new homes today. Blue girl "Ronja" (T. Sylivekki) moved to Hämeenlinna. Her owners are Elli Heimonen (who already has lived with a CS) and Aleksi Altio. Elli is going to start agility with Ronja.

Yellow girl (T. Ihmisnuoli) moved to Espoo and lives with Nita Latovehmas who is also interested in agility.

Pink girl (T. Puolivalssi) is staying home with breeder Tommi. Tommi will call the puppy π ("about 3.14159265" pronaunced Pi) and is going to train agility with her. Hopefully she will be as great agility dog as her mom Böödi.

10.2.2019 Böödis’ puppies are six weeks old today! Congrats little termites! It is clear these little bunnies have teeth they love to use. The very best things for chewing are littermates’ tails or wool socks when there is an ankle in the sock. In one moment, a termite and another moment a hugging sweetheart <3

If something, this winter has given us a lot of snow. For puppies this is a good thing because it made possible to build a labyrinth for them to run. How happy and excited they are running through the labyrinth taking little breaks in a doghouse time to time. This wouldn´t have been possible in the summertime! These CS puppies really know how to enjoy the winter 😊 They have also started their lesson to be house-trained. They are still working on it, but so far it looks very promising.

3.2.2019 Puppies are 5 weeks old today! It's a cliche to say that this litter is evenly strong, but must say it really is! There are no huge differences between the puppies characters at the moment. Naturally they are still very young so it is impossible to say anything for sure. Predicting the puppies future is like.. predicting future :-)

27.1.2019 It's a celebration! Bunnies are 4 weeks today and also breeder is celebrating his b-day.

Puppies are growing and they find the puppybox too small. Two puppies have already gotten out of the box so we must make some arrangements to make the room safe for the kids.

Böödi is taking good care of her children. Her milkbar is still open, but not as often as before. She is also playing with the puppies and just chilling in the box. It is really beautiful and relaxing to watch.

20.1.2019 Bunnies are 3 weeks old now. They all have their eyes open and their legs and teeth are grown :-) The puppybox is twice as large as before so now the puppies are able to sleep on the other half of the box and use the other half as a toilet. Puppies are also introduced to solid food.

We have decided their official names and they are agility terms in Finnish:

13.1.2019 Böödi's little bunnies are two weeks old today! Happy Birthday! They are growing fast, some puppies have their eyes open, some don't. Their growth is so fast that they all will have their eyes open in two days.

Puppies are taking steps in the puppybox and it looks quite funny; one step forward two steps back... but in the end practice makes perfect!

Böödi is doing great, she is eating 4 times a day but we'll change it for 3 times. She is still enjoying her puppies so much that she is not willing to give them out of the box. She really is a great mother.

6.1.2019 Böödi's bunnies are celebrating their first week today! Congrats little bunnies!

Although this is the easiest time for breeder, it still feels like there is always something to do. Böödi is taking good care of her puppies, her appetite is enormous and she demands service during day and night :-) Puppies are growing nicely and they know how to bark, scream and yell. They sure are Croatian sheepdogs!

30.12.2018 Böödi's bunnies are here! She gave birth to 6 lovely puppies; 1 male and 5 females <3 The sire of this litter is from our own breeding (in 2nd generation): Kuti (Tuus Hirmukuti). All the puppies are black and have long tail. If everything goes as planned the puppies are ready for their new homes in the end of the week 7/2019.

29.11.2018 Böödi's pregnancy is confirmed! We are expecting puppies to born when year 2018 is changing to 2019!

25.10.2018 Böödi is breeded with Kuti (Tuus Hirmukuti). Expecting puppies born Jan 2019. Last year there was no luck with puppies, probably breeding was too late.

5.7.2017 Puppy plans end of the year 2017.

02.06.11 CS Pimpo's pups are born! There are 5 pups (1+4) one male and 3 girls were born with long tails and one girl without a tail. Mom and kids are doing fine at the moment :-)

01.06.11 Today it's 62 days from CS Pimpo's (Tuus Paniikkipilleri) first mating and there is a web cam filming beside the puppy box. If you're interested to know what happens in the box send email to tra@iki.fi and ask for password.

29.05.11 CS Myyrä (Tuus Tohtori Sykerö) participated in obedience test the beginners' level and they got great points 186,5 with his handler Satu Kettukangas and were placed 1/11. Congrats!

28.05.11 CS Saga (Tuus Laventelilulla) participated in obedience test highest class (4th level) in Finland with her owner Eija Hyvättinen. This was a historical moment for CS here in Finland. They got 205 which was a great way start in this level.

26.05.11CS Pimpo (Tuus Paniikkipilleri) is 8 weeks pregnant today. She's full of joy and happiness and she's feeling great. Here are two pics of Pimpo:

14.05.11 Great day for CS Satiainen & Puubi at agility competiton in Janakkala. Satiainen won one course with result 0 and Puubi was placed 3rd the same course!!! This doesn't really happen too often... so it's time to celebrate.

01.05.11 It's been awhile since we updated these pages in English... There has been so much going on since last July that I just put few main things that has happened. At the moment we're excited if we're going to have a CS litter in June. Ultra sound confirmed the pregnancy but it's still too early to say anything. The bitch, Pimpo, is a daughter of our Puubi (Biba from Bartolovi Dvori kennel) and Grom (Mawlch Grom). My friend Tuija flew to Croatia in the end of March 2011 and with great help of Alen Marekovic she went to a small village to meet Pimpo's fiance Rex. Now we're expecting a litter in June!
